Here’s what’s going on at CRPR in February 2008:
- REGISTER NOW FOR SPRING PROGRAMS! The Centre Region Parks & Recreation 2008 Winter &
Spring Leisure Guides are available at locations throughout the Centre Region, and at the CRPR

- CRPR 2008 Discounted Ski Ticket Program: Lift Ticket vouchers for 13 different area ski locations
in PA are on sale NOW! Call 231-3071or visit our website for details.
- Centre Region Picnic Pavilion Reservations are being accepted for Centre Region Park areas.
Reservations may be made for the 2008 picnic season, April 12 - Oct. 26 , in person or over the
phone, with payments due in full at the time the reservation is made. Pavilions are available for
year-round rental. For fee and reservation information, contact CRPR at 231-3071 or visit for

Summer Day Camp Registration BEGINS! CRPR knows what it means to be kid in the summer! Find all the necessary information for summer planning at the CRPR website: www.crpr.org. Sign
your children up for a great summer experience at one of the many exciting and intriguing day
camps CRPR has to offer. There are so many choices to fit all ages, schedules and costs. For more

Healthy Steps in Motion Exercise Program This low impact exercise will work on improving
balance, flexibility, strength and reduce the risk of falling and can be done in a chair or standing.
Participants will use hand-held weights and exercise bands, which will be provided. Mondays &
Fridays, 10:15- 11:15 AM. FREE!
Line Dancing No experience necessary or partners needed! Join the FUN in the Sr. Center’s dance
room on Mon, Wed, & Fri at 10:50AM. FREE!
Centre Region Badminton Club. Come join the fun playing the fastest game on earth every
Friday evening from 7-10 PM at the Easterly Parkway Elem All Purpose Room. Call 234-1039 for

Centre Region Senior Social Club. This active group of adults, ages 55 +, meet to plan
activities, trips, and programs. Meetings are normally held on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday of each
month from 11:30 AM - 2 PM at the Senior Center. Lunch is served at 11:30 AM followed by social
time, a program meeting and the featured program at 1PM. For meal or van service reservations,
please call 231-3076 by 10 AM on the Monday prior.
Line Dancing dance at 7 PM at Mt. Nittany Residence....FREE!
Seniors Hiking Group meets at 10 AM to begin a moderate hike in the great outdoors. Various
