Group Use of Picnic Pavilion |
Permit Required @ $35 per event. No Program or Instructional Services provided.
This open, rustic pavilion is a great place for family gatherings or informal meetings. Pavilion includes 8 picnic tables and access to two charcoal grills. Maximum capacity is 64 people. This fee matches the region-wide rates for municipal park pavilions. All CRPR procedures apply to this pavilion. |
Group Use of Main Barn & Grounds |
Permit Required. $50 for two hours; $15 for each additional hour. No Program or Instructional Services provided. The historic Pennsylvania Bank Barn at the Millbrook Marsh Nature Center is a beautiful setting for any family or business activity! This large, open, multi-purpose space is flexible enough for business meetings, family picnics, university activities, art displays, and more! Rental includes use of the main floor of the barn, access to tables and chairs, electric outlets and a refrigerator. If you have never been inside this beautiful barn, call today for a walk-through.*The occupancy of the barn may not exceed 40 people per floor at any time. |

The lower level of the nature center barn, future site of the innovative
new Wetland Laboratory, is available for use as a multi-purpose space. This
cozy space is suitable for meetings, demonstrations, student presentations, and
more! This rental includes access to this level only, access to tables and chair,
plus electric outlets.*The occupancy of the barn may not exceed 40 people per
floor at any time. |
NOTICE: Groups who wish to use the grounds and /or instructional areas for their own educational activities must contact the Recreation Supervisor for scheduling details and training requirements.
To schedule a Facility Rental:
1. Please review this information
regarding rental options and fees.
2. Contact the Nature Center Recreation Supervisor to reserve the date
and to discuss options and arrangements.
3. Reservations must be paid in full
at the time of scheduling. Date and time is not guaranteed until payment
is made.
Please Note:
• The starting time shall be considered as that time when the facility is
requested by the group to be opened for access. The ending time shall
be considered as that time when the facility may be locked up or ready
for another rental. With a facility rental, no use of the other facilities is
permitted; however they may be reserved separately.
• A $5.00 per event surcharge will be made if the group numbers 41
or more on-site. Groups of 100 or more will follow the guidelines of the Large Group Event Policy and have an additional fee.
• All rentals must leave the facility in the condition it was found and
have no impact on the marsh. "Let none who follow regret that you were here."
• No alcoholic beverages are permitted on site.
