Donations to the
State College Area Municipal Band

The State College Area Municipal Band provides service to the Centre Region community with a number of free public concerts each year, plus numerous other public performances. The band members and Board members are all volunteers, and we all enjoy the benefits of their musical recreation activities!

Funds for the operation of the band (sheet music, instrument insurance, specialized instruments, auditorium rentals, etc.) are provided by donations at the door of each concert, as well as some assistance from Centre Region Parks & Recreation. However, the band wishes to also recognize those individuals that have contributed to the special needs of the band through the Centre Region Parks & Recreation Gifts-For-Parks Program.

The Centre Region Parks & Recreation Gifts-For-Parks Program provides a means for tax-deductible contributions to the band operations, and donated funds are held exclusively for the use intended by the donor. For more information, please contact Ronald J. Woodhead, Director of Centre Region Parks & Recreation at (814) 231-3071.
