IX.      OLD BUSINESS
-          Welch Pool Surveying Project & Draft Lease
Sweetland Engineering has completed the land surveying and mapping for the new pool site at the approved fee of $3,950. The survey plans will be posted at the meeting for Board review. The survey data has been incorporated into the draft lease. The current lease area is 3.15 acres; the proposed lease area is 3.32 acres, an increase of 7,450 sq. ft.
The Acting CRRA Solicitor, Terry Williams, has prepared a draft lease for the expanded Welch Pool tract between CRRA and SCASD. A 25-year lease is necessary in order to proceed with the state grant to develop the Master Site Plan. This draft is based upon information furnished by the Authority and staff. The Authority is asked to review the document and identify any areas of concern before it is presented to the District for their comments. Pending any revisions, the Authority can vote to ask the participating municipalities for their comments and/or authorize the Solicitor to present it to SCASD.(Attachment #6)(Action)
