"News From The Municipal Parks - March 2008"

2008 has brought with it many park improvements and enhancements around the Centre Region, and 2008 is shaping up to be another busy year. Fortunately for all park users, the Borough of State College and the Townships of College, Ferguson, Harris and Patton are always exploring ways to make these treasures more enjoyable. The establishment of and improvements to municipal parks are funded by the owning municipality; those park areas (over 4 acres in size) are then transferred to CRPR for regionally-funded maintenance and program services. For detailed information regarding Centre Region municipal parks, please explore this website.

Summer is a great time of year to get out and enjoy the numerous municipal parks. The following is a list of projects planned for the remainder of 2008. All improvements were funded by the host municipality. Spend some time at a nearby municipal park, you'll be glad you did! For a roster of all municipal park amenities, please click HERE.
