149 of the program visits were by nonresidents during the 12-month period,. The nonresidents are not included in the counts shown above, and are not included in the funding formula calculations. These individuals were all Centre County residents, but not Centre Region residents. Detailed counts by month are available upon request.

The “Program Visits” increased by 6.1% while the “Meal Count” continued with a decrease of 2.5%. The increased program visits are due to expanded senior center & CALL programs, PC Learning Lab programs, and the State College Senior Social Club that meets at the senior center. Of course, not all programs occur at the center. Visits at the center include all of our regular programs plus CALL classes that occur on-site, and visits offsite are the CALL classes that are held elsewhere in the Centre Region. Of the 28,327 program visits (by residents and nonresidents), 16,968 (60%) were at the senior center and 11,359 were at off-site locations.
