YOUTH LEAGUES
Winter
Coed Youth Basketball League
This coed recreational league is open to all area youth in grades 3-10. Players will learn
basketball fundamentals, team work, and cooperation...EVERYONE PLAYS. Practices and
league play will begin in mid-January and continue through March. Coaches, officials and score
keepers are needed, please call CRPR at 231-3071.
Spring
Girl's Softball for Grades 3-12
Registration information will be available in the Winter & Spring Leisure Guides. Practices start
in April and games run from April to June. The league is for girls in grades 3-12. The league is
split into 3 divisions: 3, 4 & 5 grades; 6, 7 & 8 grades; and 9, 10, 11 & 12 grades. For more

Summer
Summer Swim Team Leagues
An outdoor pool league for ages 4-18 at Welch Pool and at Park Forest Pool. These teams are
members of the Central PA. Swim League.
Summer & Fall
"Smart Start" Soccer, Golf & Football Programs
These are developmentally appropriate
introductory programs that involves parent participation. The “Start Smart” programs teach
parents how to introduce their children to these sports using fun and age-appropriate equipment.

ADULT LEAGUES
Adult Basketball League
This "recreational" league is open to adults aged 25 years of age and older, and each team plays
two games per week. The Winter season starts in mid-Jan. and runs through April. League space
is limited. There will be a captain’s meeting on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 7pm if you are
interested in registering a team. The Fall season starts in October and runs through mid-December. The captain’s meeting for the fall will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008. This
league is open to men and women.
Adult Volleyball League
The CRPR Adult Volleyball league is split into two divisions: Division I for the more
experienced player and Division II for players building experience. The Winter season will begin
in early January and runs through April. League space is limited. There will be a captain’s
meeting on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at 7pm if you are interested in registering a team. The
Fall season play begins in late-Sept. and runs through mid-December. The captain’s meeting for
the fall league will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008. This league is open to men and
women.
Adult Softball League
This "recreational" league is open to adults ages 18 & up. The softball league starts the last week
of April and runs until mid-August. The captain's meeting will be held on Thursday, March 20,
2008 at 7pm. Any new teams interested in joining should contact the CRPR office at 231-3071
ASAP. League space is always limited. This league is open to men and women.
Adult Flag Football League
The CRPR Adult Flag Football league is split into two divisions: Division I for the more
competitive teams and Division II for the less experienced teams. The league starts on Sunday,
September 7, 2008 and runs until Sunday, November 16, 2008. All games are played on Sundays
at Spring Creek Park, College Twp. A captain's meeting will be held on Thursday, August 21,
2008 at 7pm for those interested in registering a team. Space is limited.
